Staffin is located close to the main square in Newcastleton, a small village and gateway to the Scottish Borders. Newcastleton is very close to the English border and can be reached from the M6 or A74(M) motorways in less than 45 minutes.
It is an ideal holiday destination, suiting many different people: those seeking outdoor pursuits (walking, cycling, fishing, golf, etc), families requiring entertainment and activities, those wishing to tour the area and take in historic sites and buildings, or even just to admire the wonderful scenery in the Scottish Borders, and those wishing to travel further afield to The Lake District, Northumbria, Dumfries and Galloway, or even the iconic cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow (both about a 2-hour drive away).
